ECOFILL® STAR: A SOLUTION TO CRUMB RUBBER INFILL

In response to concerns associated with the use of crumb rubber from recycled waste tires, Mondo, a manufacturer of high-performance athletic surfaces, researched and developed Ecofill® Star, a polyolefin-based' resilient granule that meets the highest standard of playability and does not contaminate natural resources or cause adverse health effects.

Unlike SBR crumb rubber, which is made from processing waste tires from a wide range of arbitrary sources (i.e., the tires may have different compositions, histories, manufacturers and uses), Ecofill® Star is manufactured in a factory-controlled environment with a combination of select raw components that are guaranteed to be free of potentially harmful substances

Health and Safety

 Ecofill® Star provides the highest level of protection for the environment and athletes from contamination by potentially hazardous substances.
